Maja Ross Andres Salvador was born on October 5, 1988 in Appari Cagayan Philippine. Her father, Rosauro Salvador (popularly known as Ross Rival), is an actor. Her mother is Thelma Andres. She is a cousin to Jobelle Salvador (one of the casts of the Bagets movie) and niece of Phillip Salvador a famous Filipino drama and action star—niece to Leroy Salvador, who was a famous versatile actor, and grandchild to the late Lou Salvador, a famous Filipino basketball player during the prewar era who has played for the Philippine national basketball team, later became an actor.
Soon after, Salvador started receiving multiple offers to be in various films and television shows. Her biggest role was in the 2006 Philippine blockbuster Sukob along with Kris Aquino and Claudine Barretto. She is dubbed as the Horror Princess of Philippines Television. [4]
Blessings incessantly poured over her after receiving lots of projects both on television and movies. According to her, the best project that was given to her would be being a part of the Ultimate Dance Four (UD4) with Rayver Cruz, Shaina Magdayao andJohn Prats as well. Obviously, dancing really is her passion yet shes trying to change or transpose genre from dancing to pure acting.
She was cast in May Bukas Pa, a primetime drama series on ABS-CBN with Zaijan Jaranilla, Rayver Cruz, Albert Martinez, Dina Bonnevie and many more. She was the lead actress of Nagsimula Sa Puso, a remake of the 1990s film that previously starred Hilda Koronel in the title role. She also starred in Impostor with Sam Milby. In 2011 she is one of the lead roles in a teleserye in ABS-CBN Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin as Krista love interest of Alexander, played by Coco Martin who’s also a star cast on Nagsimula SA Puso.
